Mailboxes were reported damaged in the area of Ontario Street and Mackies Way at 8:05 a.m.

An officer answered a citizen's questions in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 10:16 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 100 block of W. First Avenue in Kootenai at 3:55 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver in the area of Humbird Street and Highway 200 in Kootenai at 4:25 p.m.

Report of a suspicious male in the 1100 block of W. Lake Street at 6:26 p.m.

Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of N, Main Street and Brittany Loop in Kootenai at 10:10 p.m.

Found paraphernalia on W. Lake Street was seized for destruction at 10:28 p.m.

A K9 officer assisted Ponderay Police on a traffic stop on Superior Street at 11:50 p.m.

Oct. 17

An officer was dispatched to the 477000 block of Highway 95 in reference to a 911 hang-up at 11:12 a.m.

An officer was dispatched to the 476000 block of Highway 95 in reference to a possible drunken driver at 2:57 p.m.

An officer responded to a suicide attempt in the city at 6:01 p.m.

An officer responded to a suspicious circumstance in the 300 block of Bonner Mall Way at 6:24 p.m.

An officer conducted a drug investigation in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 8:42 p.m.

Garret E. Wipf, 28, of Coeur d'Alene was cited at 11:50 p.m. on charges of driving without privileges and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Superior Street in Sandpoint.
