Is Suppiger really what's best for children?

| October 29, 2021 1:00 AM

There are many people who support Suppiger for reelection, but who are they? Friends, neighbors, teachers. I recently did a little research into who funds him. One of his big supporters is actually a group whose "main objective" is to "promote and pass levies and bonds" for schools.

Gary recently said in a debate that he "hates levies", but that it is the school district's "only tool." But with this group backing his campaign, does he really hate levies?

I won't vote back an incumbent who votes for the school's best interest, rather than the people's best interest. As levies increase property taxes for "better" schools, families will have to move out of the area, along with the children who were supposed to benefit, to make way for richer families from out of state. Is that really better for the children?
