SUMMARY: The City of Dover adopted Ordinance # 174 to: amend Dover City Code, Title 12 (Dover Zoning Regulations), Section 12-5-6, Public Use Table, to add municipal facilities and structures, including administrative offices, services, and U.S. post office as uses authorized in all zoning districts, and to provide a savings clause, severability, and an effective date upon publication of this summary in one issue of the official newspaper. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Ponderay City Council will hold public hearings on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., to consider the following requests: File UP21-077, Helping Hands Inc is requesting special use permit approval in order to construct a mixed-use structure containing a multifamily transitional housing facility with associated life skills training center and onsite counselling facilities. The property is currently owned by the James Fenton Co, but is under contract for purchase at this time. The property is located on the West side of Triangle Drive between its intersection with Schweitzer Plaza and its intersection with Bonner Mall Way in Section 11, 57N, Range 2 West, Boise Meridian, more specifically described as Schweitzer Plaza, Block 2, Lot 8. The Ponderay Planning Commission recommended approval of this project unanimously at its regularly scheduled meeting on October 13, 2021. File SS21-033, Big Creek Land Company, LLC and the Daniel and Janet Evans Estate are seeking preliminary plat approval in order to subdivide 21.13 acres into 63 residential lots with associated infrastructure. The proposed lots range in size from 7,981 sq ft to 17,019 sq ft. The property is located between McNearney Road and Starr Lane with frontage on both streets and is in Section 2, Township 57 North Range 2 West, Bonner County Idaho. The Ponderay Planning Commission recommended approval of this project 4-1 in a roll call vote at their regularly scheduled meeting on October 13, 2021.
