Lynda Jean Rouse, 75

Lynda Jean Rouse, 75, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services have been held.

Lynda was born on August 4, 1946, in Chico, Calif., to Vernon and Hazel Orear. She grew up and attended schools in Chico.

Lynda married David Rouse on December 10, 1965, in Rough and Ready, Calif. She worked in Roseburg, Ore., at the Lumber Co. and as a policewoman. She moved to Sandpoint 20 years ago and worked for the U.S. Postal Service.

She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, David Rouse of Sandpoint, two sons, Scott Rouse and Eric (Mellissa) Rouse, all of Sandpoint.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Shelly, Darla, Melanie and Lizzy; and one brother, Kevin.
