Tell the truth on why hospitals are full

Regarding Wednesday's article, "COVID Crisis," the 14th line down in that article lists factors leading to crisis levels of hospital services.

Unfortunately, you don't list the actual causes of this, which is a fanatical following of local citizens who:  

Believe Heather Scott's "plandemic" nonsense,

Believe ex-President Trump's repeated claims of this being a hoax,

Believe there are electronic or magnetic devices in a vaccine

Believe that this vaccine is somehow different than all the successful ones since the 1500s.

Believe that vaccines are part of a world-wide conspiracy.

Believe that mask mandates infringe on their "freedom."(Never mind the other 100 mandates we live with, like shoes, pants, speed limits, driver's licenses, etc.

Believe that anything suggested by the Democrats is another step towards socialism, like they even know what that is.

THIS is why our hospitals are full.

If this newspaper is going to report why hospitals are full, how about telling the truth about it??
