Will Hurst sets new PR at Lakeland invite

RATHDRUM — The Sandpoint boys finished in fourth place at the Lakeland Invitational with the girls placing seventh.

Senior Will Hurst PR’d in the discus event with a throw of 156 feet and two inches. Ben Ricks won the 1600 meter event with a time of 4:33.18

For the girls, Maren Davidson won the 800 meters event with a time of 2:28.70.

Sandpoint will be back in action today for the Strandberg Invitational at Central Valley High School.
