Callie Elizabeth Burr, 76

Callie Elizabeth Burr, 76, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at her home in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the Lakeview Funeral Home. They are being officiated by Pastor Hollis Stewart.

Callie was born on January 30, 1946, in Oakland, California, to James and Betty Fowler. As a child, she lived in Peru and graduated high school in 1964. She was fluent in both English and Spanish.

After high school, Callie moved back to the U.S. and attended business college for two years. She then had her son in 1970.

Callie was known for taking care of people and writing poetry.

She is survived by her two sisters, Susan Fowler of California, and Rachel Brown of Sandpoint; her son, Daniel of Oklahoma; and by one grandson and two great-grandsons. Callie is preceded in death by her mother and father.
