Burton notches ace at Baldfoot

Derrick Tuttle and Michael Givens earned a share of first place during singles league at the Baldfoot Disc Golf Course.

Both golfers finished with a score of 49, six under par.

Tuttle went on a streak hitting four birdies on holes 13 through 16 to tie things up with Givens.

Haven Burton, who finished in ninth place with a score of 54, an even par, notched an ace on Tuesday.

He accomplished the feat on hole 14.

He drained the 234 feet par-3 in just one throw.

John Eastaugh finished in third place with a score of 51, four under par.

This is the second week in a row that the Sandpoint Disc Golf League had at least 23 players come out and compete at a league event.

The Sandpoint Disc Golf League will be back on Friday for doubles league and will be back a day later on Saturday for the “Double Trouble Baldfoot Bash Tournament” at the Baldfoot Disc Golf Course.
