Do you want shooters to have A musket or AR-15?

In his Aug. 7, 2022, letter to the editor “muskets were the assault weapons of their day,” Dean Cannon obviously misses the point for the banning of AR-15 style assault weapons.

Perhaps this will help you, Mr. Cannon. You are a student in a school and someone enters to commit murder, would you rather they were armed with an AR-15 style assault weapon or an American Revolutionary War era musket?
