Ronald Eugene Mozley, 76, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022 in Careywood, Idaho.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Ron was born on June 25, 1946, in Stockton, Calif., to Oral and Julia Mozley. After completing school in Stockton, he attended San Jose State University. He then served his country in the United States Army.

Ron served a career in law enforcement, working as an officer for Stockton and San Jose police departments. Ron was married to Carolyn Cusimano on Feb. 25, 1973; they later divorced.

Ron married Stephanie Lindsly on Sept. 15, 1991, on Lake Tahoe. They made their home in Boulder Creek, Calif., before retiring to Careywood in 2001.

He enjoyed skiing, motorcycles, running and weightlifting.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Mozley of Careywood; and one son, Derek (Jill) Mozley of Nolensville, Tenn.
