Coast at own risk
Coasting on a public highway is dangerous, but when the hill selected for such sport is on a state highway, is in such a slippery condition that a car cannot stop on it and has such a sharp crest that an approaching car cannot be seen until it tops the summit, conditions are ripe for a serious accident. The weather outside was frightful Monday, creating hazardous driving conditions across North Idaho and prompting a number of businesses to close their doors for the day.
