Couple celebrating 73rd anniversary

Bob and Aleatha Sawhill have spent 73 years of their lives building a family and inspiring others after being united in marriage Jan. 1, 1950.

They have shown friends and family that love is enough. They have bickered more than any couple I've ever met, but they have laughed even more.

"They have loved one another for 73 years, and I am so honored to be a part of their family," granddaughter Kimberly Sawhill said on behalf of the family. "Happy anniversary, Grandma and Grandpa. You are loved always."
