We’re only four days away from Super Bowl 56 featuring the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams. Which means, you only have four days left to enter the Bonner County Daily Bee’s Super Bowl contest!

All you have to do is submit your pick for the winner, the score, and who you think will win the MVP award to tpixley@bonnercountydailybee.com and you’ll be entered for a chance to win $100.

Only 17 people have entered the contest so far and here’s the updated numbers.

As for the winner, the Rams were the clear favorite in the early stages. Four out of the first five entries selected Los Angeles to hoist the Lombardi.

But as more submissions came in, the Bengals started to gain some life. Three out of the next five submissions picked Cincinnati to win the Super Bowl.

After the first 10 ballots were counted it was a 6-4 Rams edge. As of Wednesday, Feb. 8 the Rams are still the people’s favorite 10-7.

For the MVP award, people were clearly favoring the quarterbacks and if history is anything to go by, that’d be the safe choice.

In the past 10 Super Bowls, seven quarterbacks have won the Super Bowl MVP.

Matthew Stafford currently leads the MVP voting with seven votes, Joe Burrow is in second with six votes.

Other players receiving votes were Aaron Donald, Joe Mixon, and Cooper Kupp.

The score prediction is the hardest one to nail down and of course we’ve received a variety of scores.

But, it seems as though everyone is looking forward to a close game. The average margin of victory has been seven points.

There was only one score that multiple people chose. Three people think Super Bowl 56 will end 27-24.
