Angels announce Follies 2022 cancellation
The Angels Over Sandpoint’s major fundraiser, The Follies, has been canceled for the second year due to COVID.
Typically held in March, the Follies has not only delighted the community with laughter and frivolity, it also raised over $50,000 annually for those in need. Combined with monies raised from the Follies in the previous year, generous donations and robust fundraising Angels Over Sandpoint was able to touch our community in numerous ways in 2021, including:
Assistance grants and donations to non-profits such as Bonner Community Food Bank, Bonner Homeless Transitions, Kinderhaven, Priest River Advocates, Navigation Services, Hope Memorial Community Center, Bonner County Health’s Family Center, Food For Our Children, Arts Alliance, and Bonner County Historical Society.
Hand-up gifts totaling over $2,000 to individuals during the holidays in need of food, gas money, rent assistance, and gifts for children.
School supplies and backpacks for over 1,000 children.
