PRIEST RIVER — Priest River boys basketball built a 14-point first quarter lead and cruised to a 55-27 victory over Immaculate Conception Academy on Thursday night.

Trentyn Kreager scored a team-high 14 points.

"They're a very small school, but they played hard," head coach Jaden Barrett said. "It was a good game for us to work in some things we haven't had an opportunity to try yet in game, and a good game to get Trentyn back in rhythm right before league play."

Nadin Thompson scored 8 points, Coner Berns 7 and Travis Mathews 5.

The Spartans (7-5) head to Timberlake for the Battle of the Buck at 6 p.m. Saturday.
