CFHS students lend helping hand

Clark Fork High School freshman girls basketball players made a pit stop on their way to practice on a recent Wednesday morning.

One of their regular substitute teachers, Rosemary O'Brien, was out in her driveway and had started to make headway with the snow. But, with the rain starting, the players knew the snow was only going to get heavier and hopped out of their vehicle and started shoveling.

Although they were late for practice, they made quick work of the heavy, wet snow, CFHS girls basketball coach Jordan Adams said.

Mrs. O'Brien was beyond grateful and in return for their hard work rewarded the young ladies with baked goodies, Adams said.

"The Lady Cat coaches are ecstatic that the young ladies on their team have great attitudes on the court and are also compassionate community members," she added.
