County hurting majority to placate demands of a few

How is it that a vocal minority, in league with our county commissioners, is depriving all Bonner County residents of the opportunity to take advantage of American Rescue Plan Act funds to finance county services?

At the end of the day, ARPA funds are our tax dollars, and can finance things including life-saving equipment for Bonner County Emergency Medical Services. A group of county residents are that accepting these funds would require us to accept basic public health measures to control the COVID pandemic. Federal dollars for many programs require local jurisdictions to enforce traffic safety measures, to meet basic standards for hospitals and many other requirements...
