Priest River drops to 0-4 in league play

PRIEST RIVER — Priest River girls basketball was outsized and outmatched in a 57-17 loss to Kellogg on Friday night.

"We couldn't handle their pressure at the beginning and we struggled offensively to get any rhythm," head coach Gary Stewart said.

The Spartans trailed 30-8 at the half.

Lilly Freitas scored a team-high 8 points.

With the defeat, Priest River falls to 0-4 in Intermountain League play.

The Spartans (3-9) head to Kellogg at 7 p.m. Monday.
