It rained hard all of Thursday, the fish was noticed Friday morning and assumptions were made that the fish was stranded when the waters went down Thursday night. Heavy rain Thursday covered almost all of the Pacific Northwest. There were winds and floods in other areas. Up to two inches of rain fell on top of snow packs in 48 hours in some north Idaho areas.
