Daughter is gifted teacher, loving person — and gay

A recent letter to the editor used the phrase “a few gays and a few lesbians …“. Does the letter writer realize these gays and lesbians are human beings? Has the letter writer ever met or communicated with these human beings? Does the letter writer understand these human beings have people who love them?

One of these human beings is our daughter. She is a gifted teacher, an accomplished writer, a loving and strong young woman who makes us extremely proud every single day.
