Agnes Waits

Agnes Waits of Laclede, Idaho, passed away on Sunday, July 10,2022, at the age of 91.

Agnes was born on August 26, 1930 in Princeton, Minnesota to Owen and Jennie Stanley.

Agnes met Elmer in Denver, Colorado, and they were married on February 18, 1956. They settled in Laclede in 1961, where they raised their children Sandi and Ron.

Agnes worked at the Co-Op in Sandpoint for many years. She worked on the voting in Laclede and belonged to the Laclede Community Church.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and 14 brothers and sisters. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer in 2020.

Agnes is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Kevin Seppala of Sagle, Idaho; her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Melanie Waits of Laclede. She has five grandchildren, Eric, Minda, Damon and wife Mackenzie, Lyndsie and Elizabeth; four great-grandchildren, Ashkii, Shanell, Gemma and Kennon; and also, her very best friend Malisa.

A memorial service will be at the Laclede Community Church for Agnes and Elmer Waits on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to make donations to the Laclede Community Church.
