SHS softball to host UW player clinic
The Sandpoint High School softball team will be hosting a clinic at Sandpoint Middle School that features two Division I college players.
University of Washington’s Pat Moore and Megan Vandegrift will help coach the clinic from July 30-31.
The July 30 portion of the camp will include a pitching clinic and a defensive clinic.
The pitching clinic will begin at 10 a.m. and wrap up at 11 a.m. Pitchers will have to provide their own catchers since space is limited.
The cost of the clinic will be $20. The defensive clinic will be from 12-2 with a cost of $30.
The July 31 portion will be a 30-minute private lesson session. The price of the private lessons will be $30.
The camp is intended for players entering the third-12 grade. Pre-registration is required to guarantee a spot. For registration information visit sandpointfastpitch.shutterfly.com.
