'Torn' gains community support
Marie Eddy poses with a family friend who helped encourage her mother, Christine Eddy to write the book "Torn: Married to a white supremacist". Marie Eddy came to Sandpoint with the support of her husband and friends of her mother to begin the press tour for her mother's posthumously published autobiography.

"Torn: Married to a White Supremacist" by Christine Eddy details her life, raising her children as a devout catholic wife to Robert Irving Eddy. During their time living in Sandpoint Christine witnessed her husband become the aide-de-camp to Aryan Nations Leader Richard Butler. Marie Eddy said she felt was important to debut the book in Sandpoint due to the history encircling the book, her family, and BCHRTF.
Marie Eddy said her mother's courage inspired her to see her mother's legacy shared.
