“SEEKING A JOB” - FINDS A WIFE
When Harold Whittemore left the city Saturday, it was with the announced intention of looking for a job. When next heard from by his parents, he announced that he had not located a job, but had found a wife; the suspicion now arises he was not looking for a job at all, but that the young woman, Miss Leona Bartlett, preceded him to St. Maries a week previous with complete understanding as to the events which were to follow. The couple, who were married Saturday, are on a honeymoon at Spirit Lake. The bride graduated with the class of ’22 from Sandpoint high school and is very popular with the younger set. The groom, a class of ’21 graduate of Sandpoint high, has many friends among the musical circles with which he is associated.
