Newport Community Hospital to give free sports physicals

NEWPORT — The Newport Community Hospital (Old Long Term Care entrance along Spruce Street and Scott Ave, 714 W. Pine Street) will be giving out free sports physicals on Friday, August 5.
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but a parent or guardian must be present to provide consent.
The clinic is for sports physicals only; all other health concerns will require another appointment.
Masks are required and everyone will be screened upon entrance.
Free Physicals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
