Floyd Daniel (Dan) Thomas

| July 24, 2022 1:00 AM

Floyd Daniel (Dan) Thomas went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2022.

Dan was born April 24, 1961, in Truckee, Calif., to Aaron E. Thomas and Marlene M. (Moore) Thomas.

He grew up and went to school in Sandpoint, Idaho. He moved to Washington as an adult.

He attended trade college, thus his career as a millwright. He worked for White Block and then Scafco up to his passing. He worked hard and took pride in his work his entire life. He was looking forward to retirement.

Dan loved the outdoors — hunting, fishing, skiing and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his family barbecuing, sharing love, laughs and stories.

Dan is survived by his mother, Marlene (Cecil) Syth; sisters, Kim (Robert) Brandon, Kate Cooke, Karen Thomas and Sam Thomas; brothers, Wes and Barry Raynor and their children; nephews Jeremy Johnson, and Christopher (Sasha) Johnson; nieces, Isabella Peek, Claire and Grace Cooke; a great-nephew Jack; a great-niece Ember; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron; brothers, James and Matt; and his niece Marcella.

Though he is out of our sight, he will forever live on in our hearts.

There will be a celebration of life.
