After visiting his father in Sagle, Idaho, Brad fell in love with North Idaho. Feeling the need for a career change, Brad moved to Sagle in June of 1986. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in January 1987. He loved to share his faith at every opportunity.

Brad had varied careers over the years. He worked as an A&P mechanic, a general contractor, an IT guy, and web designer. After retiring, they moved back to Sandpoint in 2018.

He was a man of many hobbies. He loved flying, photography, woodworking, hunting, fishing, prospecting, the wonders of creation, and Larry the dog, his late night snacking buddy.
