Kennedy's words bring reflection

Years ago, President John F. Kennedy, made a profound statement. He said, "Ask not what the country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

I believe that was a terrific statement. It is too bad that now in the United States, too many people still want handouts from the government, like being paid to stay home, forgiveness of student loan debts, etc.

Those who have served in the military, Peace Corps, religious outreach in foreign countries are doing their part, but what about the rest of America? Basically, most in America are good hard every day workers. They just want an honest dollar for an honest day's work, but we have too many who want something for nothing.

Hopefully Kennedy's words will resonate with the people who want their loans forgiven, and will wake up to the fact that they took out the loans, now they have an obligation to pay it back.
