PR issues water advisory
PRIEST RIVER — The city has issued a "do not drink city water" advisory for some residents in the community following a Tuesday water main break.
Residents included in the "do not drink" advisory are those who live north of U.S. 2 and west of Highway 57. Priest River officials said Priest River residents within the affected area would be contacted by a city employee directly.
The advisory, sent via Nixle alert and posted to the city's Facebook page issued about 9 p.m., followed an earlier alert asking residents to restrict your water use for the next several hours.
