North Idaho CASA hosting annual Ray of Hope lunch
North Idaho CASA is inviting the community to attend its annual Ray of Hope lunch on Tuesday, March 22, at the Tango Cafe.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the lunch program begins promptly at noon. As cases in Bonner County decrease, CASA has created several new programs to meet the needs of foster kids and their families. Project Permanency, providing essentials to reunified families will be one of the highlighted services, as well as the Learning Lab and Birthday Books.
CASA supports trained advocates for over 300 child abuse and neglect victims in North Idaho. Advocates investigate child protection cases, represent the child’s best interest in court and help find them a safe home with a forever family.
Bonner County supervisor Jessie Sheldon will be presenting Years of Service awards to Beth Wills, Glen Shaw, Marilyn Porath, Carole Smith and Janis Rust, all who have served over a decade with CASA. Thank you to Bonner General Health for sponsoring the luncheon. We welcome community members to attend.
All proceeds raised at this event will stay in Bonner county. North Idaho CASA is a registered 501 c3. Visit NorthIdahoCasa.org to find out more information or to rsvp.
