Dianne June Osborne, 74

| March 29, 2022 1:00 AM

Diane June Osborne of Sandpoint, Idaho, was a caring and Sassy wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She left this world to be with her lord on January 22, 2022, at Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana. She was 74.

Born to Charles and June Vickerman on November 24, 1947, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, she led a very active early life. Riding horses, fighting with her brothers, fishing with her parents and creating amazing works of art.

With an infectious laugh, she was always good for a joke or to call you on your "bullpucky." Her stories were full of adventures like knocking a grown man off a bar top with a pool cue to the shins. Or when she got to serve a beer to John Wayne himself when he came into her local bar in 1975 while filming "Rooster Cogburn".

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Thomas Osborne; her sons, Darren Osborne and Dale Bilyeu; as well as six grandchildren, James, Michael, Sunshine, Zackery, Kayla and Magdalyn.

A celebration of life will be held at The Sandpoint Assembly of God Church on April 23, 2022, at noon.

Casual potluck style, please bring a dish to share and a story to tell.

Flannel shirts are encouraged.
