Kathleen 'Kathy' Womack, 64
Kathleen "Kathy" Womack, 64, of Priest River, Idaho, peacefully passed away on April 26, 2022, after struggling with multiple effects from severe COVID-19. Kidney failure being what finally took her to her final resting place.
Kathy was born on April 16, 1958, to LaRoy and Helen Hammond in Eagle Bend Minnesota. She later moved to Maudlow, Montana, where she met the love of her life, Don Womack, at the age of 15. Kathy and Don married Oct. 20, 1973, and moved to Gateway where they went on to have three children, Tara Womack, Matt Womack and Brett Womack.
Kathy spent her life being a homemaker. Caring for her children and later caring for her 10 grandchildren and eventually loving and adoring her 10 great-grandchildren. Family was this utmost important thing in life and she instilled this quality in her children and grandchildren.
Kathy was preceded by her parents LaRoy and Helen; and two siblings, Jerry and Linda. She is survived by her loving husband, Don; her three children, Tara, Matt, and Brett; two daughters-in-law, Jennifer (Matt)and Tanya (Brett); her grandchildren, Jordan(Becca), Renee (Ethan), Donald, Preston( Mikayla), Caleb, Makina, Aidan, Brady, Brackston, Anthony, Summer, Easton, Sarina, Cambree, Bailey, Tarryn, Kensington, Scarlett, Ava, and Beau; her three sisters, Debra, Theresa, and Cherry; two brothers, Jeff and Larry; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Priest River Community Church, 49 Washington St., Priest River on May 6, 2022, at 11 a.m., with a reception following to be announced.
