Girls golf League hosts opening day event

After a long winter and a spotty spring season, The Wednesday Morning Girls Golf League is ready to hit the golf course once again.
The League will begin its season by hosting an opening day event at 7:30 a.m. at the Elks Golf Course on June 1.
The Wednesday Morning Ladies Golf League wants to see everyone participate and enjoy the festivities. Whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer to the sport. The league encourages women of all ages and skill levels to join.
The event will begin with a scramble at 7:30 a.m. and will have a brunch to follow.
The League will then end the opening day event with a Wednesday Morning Girls Golf League meeting.
The group is asking for a head count in order to properly set up for the brunch event. The deadline to RSVP is May 23.
