Beatrice Edith (Snyder) Seney, 91

Beatrice Edith (Snyder) Seney, 91, who just moved from Cocolalla Lake, Idaho, this summer, went to her heavenly home Oct. 6, 2022.

Bea was born May 3, 1931, in Sydney, Mont. She was the third of four children born to Glenn and Beth Snyder. Bea was known as “Trixie,” for her sense of humor and practical jokes. Following Bible college, she traveled throughout the East Coast leading Bible Adventure ministry campaigns for children. She introduced many hundreds of children to Christ.

Later, she served for three years as the Christian education director of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Manville, N.J. In 1967, she moved to Seattle to be near her parents, because of health problems. In 1970, she married Richard Seney. They have two sons, who also went into the ministry. She was a prayer warrior. During her latter days, she enjoyed painting, word puzzles and daily walks.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary; and brothers Glenn and Donald. Her husband, Richard, followed her a week after she died. Survivors include son John of Greenville, S.C.; son Aaron of Bakersfield, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Stacie and Josiah.

There will be a memorial service for Dick and Bea at New Song Bible Church on Dec. 17, 2022, at 3 p.m.
