FOL book sale is Saturday
The days are getting shorter, the golden leaves are flying, a chill is in the air and you are wearing a jacket. Fall is on our minds and it’s time to get ready for winter.
For the Friends of the Library, this means making lots and lots of books available to the community. At Saturday's, FOL members said it will be easier than ever.
Saturday's sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. at the Sandpoint branch library, 1407 Cedar.
Except for children’s books, the group's entire collection is offered at half-price. Look for surprising deals on sets of popular writers like Danielle Steel. In the media department, we have a new selection of sub-titled foreign films.
The community's continued patronage has allowed FOL to make annual major financial contribution to the library. These contributions help the library make purchases that are not budgeted but add greatly to the library’s ability to serve the community. In addition, these funds are matching grants which give library patrons a way to double the impact of their contributions to the library and, thus, the community.
