Verda Marrie Bullock, 87

Verda Marrie Bullock, 87, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2022, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Private family services have been held. She will be buried next to her husband, Andy Bullock, at the Lakeview Cemetery.

Verda was born Sept. 16, 1935, in Conrad, Mont., to George and Beryl Holman. She was raised by her mother and stepfather Sam Wilson in Sandpoint.

Verda married Andy Bullock on Nov. 20, 1954, in Seeley Lake, Mont. She worked as a cook at Bonner General Hospital for many years.

She enjoyed fishing, reading, camping and crocheting.

She is survived by her six children, Kathleen (Doug) Nelson in Arizona, Samuel (Debbie) Bullock of Gillett, Wyo, Susen (John) Lawson of Trout Creek, Mont., John (Melanie) Bullock of Reno, Nev., David (Shannon) Bullock of Hayden, Idaho, and Lorrie (Michael) Lewis of Sandpoint, Idaho; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Trinko of Tucson, Ariz., and Beverly Higgins of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andy Bullock; daughter, Barbara Bullock; sister, Babe Hellyer; and brother Harry Holman.
