Bulldogs name six to district cross country team

The District I Cross Country team is selected by coaches at the end of the season and made up of the top 12 runners from the following District I schools: Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Lake City, Post Falls, Lakeland, Timberlake, Coeur d'Alene Charter, Bonners Ferry, Priest River, Kellogg, Kootenai.

Sandpoint had three girls and three boys make the team. Seniors Maren Davidson and Ara Clark, and junior Lily Richardson took the honors for the girls while senior Slate Fragoso, and juniors Nathan Roche and Daniel Ricks brought it home for the boys.

The Bulldogs named Nathan Roche as their MVP for the season. Roche ran a 16:03.56 in the 5km at the Idaho State Cross Country Championships. Maren Davidson and Ara Clark shared the MVP title on the girls side running 18:53.49 and 19:43.42 respectively.
