Who is profiting off the new construction?

As you drive around Sandpoint you see hundreds of new homes being built and many new apartment buildings being built. Who is going to live in all of these new homes and apartments. Are there that many new people moving into Sandpoint? The cost of these new homes and the monthly rent for all of these new apartments will be very difficult for local people to afford based on the current local wages being paid to most working people here in Sandpoint.

I would really like to know what local Sandpoint government entity and those officials who work there approved all of this new construction?

When I moved to Sandpoint in 1999 you could buy a house for under $100,000. Have things changed that much in 23 years? I don't think so, as I honestly believe some people are pocketing a lot of money with all of this new construction of homes and apartment buildings now being built.
