KRFY hosting annual auction

| October 2, 2022 1:00 AM

Fall is in the air and 88.5 KRFY, Panhandle Community Radio’s online fundraising auction is open with plenty of items looking for a home.

Whether you're looking for something unique for yourself, searching for a gift for a special someone, or looking to add a little adventure to your life, KRFY Community Radio officials said community residents are sure to find something in their auction. Every bid helps support the community radio station.

To participate, go online to krfy.org and click on the “auction” button located in the right column or go online to biddingforgood.com/krfy.

The annual online auction opened Saturday and runs for eight days and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9. The 40 items up for bid range from the arts to clothing to dining to travel.

The question is: Will you bid on an afternoon sail on Lake Pend Oreille, a two-night Airbnb stay at Garfield Bay or a trip to a gorgeous oceanfront condo in Turks and Caicos.

Maybe you'll be tempted by the chance to enjoy a relaxing day floating the Kootenai River with a pair of experienced anglers; or a chance to snag a Schweitzer gift bag with four adult lift tickets or two-Seattle Seahawks preseason tickets with a one-night stay at a luxury hotel?

There are 40 fabulous and useful and fun items to bid on from local restaurants to haircuts and spa treatments, massage certificates and bike repair along with ridiculously tasty homemade pies. The list goes on and on.

You decide what you want to bid on to support 88.5 KRFY.

All funds raised during the online auction will benefit North Idaho’s only community radio station. KRFY is a volunteer-driven, commercial free, media organization with the mission of providing an eclectic mix of music, news, and views. So, remember to check krfy.org or biddingforgood.com/krfy and place your bids now and Oct. 9.
