Cordwood surprise
Frank Bombino, while hauling a load of cordwood, had the misfortune of breaking the wagon hammer while going up the Caprai grade, causing the load to run back down the grade and the team to run away. Frank found himself piled up by the side of the road, the load at the foot of the hill, and the team at Joe Caprai’s. One horse had fallen down and the other was standing on top of it...
