Sandemonium Lite making return to The Library

Did you get a chance to check out Sandemonium Lite at the library earlier this year?

In case you missed it, Sandemonium will be returning to the library on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 12-4 p.m. Bring your best cosplay and meet up with other members of the community to celebrate everything nerd. Anime, fantasy, sci-fi, role playing games, video games and trading card games - you name it, it will be here!

Participate in the cosplay contest for a chance to win some sweet prizes. Flex your knowledge in nerd trivia throughout the day. Play some wargames like 40K, Age of Fantasy and Infinity with local gamers.

If high-energy crowds aren’t your thing, stop by my table where I’ll be offering up an oasis of respite in the form of mini painting. Don’t have a mini to paint? Don’t worry about it, I’ll have a sizable pile of miniatures with modular pieces up for grabs including orc barbarians, elvish warriors, mountain dwarves and undead. The library will even be providing supplies for use at the table.

If you’ve got some sick cosplay you’ve been dying to show off, enter into the cosplay contest where the grand prize is a crisp $50 bill - though we all know the bragging rights are worth much more. There will even be themed baked goods for sale at the event, which helps to build even bigger events in the future, because one does not simply walk into Mordor, at least not without snacks.
