Bonner Title honored as GSC’s Business of the Month

Bonner Title opened their Sandpoint branch in the spring of this year. They have been doing business as Kootenai Title in Coeur d’Alene for nearly 50 years and are the only locally owned title and escrow company in North Idaho.

Their dedication to the community and their clients earned Bonner Title as the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce’s October Business of the Month.

Bonner Title has four dedicated employees in the Sandpoint branch located on the bottom floor of the Sand Creek Lofts, 115 East Lake St. Those four employees are Carrie Bertrand, director of marketing; JT Jacobson, owners; Kim Mehlhaff, title officer; and Rhonda Harvitz, escrow closer.

Many businesses come to the Sandpoint area open shop and hope things work without ever getting involved with the community, according to a nomination letter.

“Bonner Title has done a great job of getting involved in the community right off the bat,” the letter reads.

Bertrand joined the Sandpoint Rotary Club with her focus being on the Youth Exchange Program as well as Food For Our Children. The title company is an active chamber member, with both Bonner Title and Bertrand active in the Selkirk Association of Realtors as well
