MINUTES FOR THE BONNER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' MEETING August 30, 2022 EMS Approved and signed the Notice of Intent to Renew with Columbia state Bank for the ambulance lease. The adopted budget includes the expenditure of funds for Bonner County EMS lease for the 2022-2023 renewal term. Approved and signed the contract for MultiMedical Systems, LLC provide periodic maintenance and repairs on the listed medical equipment that Bonner County EMS currently owns. This contract term is for 36 months at a cost of $1,907.50 annually. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT Approved and signed the Contract for Hazardous Fuels Treatment between Bonner County and HV Contracting for project work on the BONFire program funded by an Idaho Department of Lands Grant with no County match. SOLID WASTE Allowed Solid Waste to apply for the 2022 Sustainable Materials Management Grant in the amount of $133,000.00. Approved that the County approve the Letter of Intent to renew the backhoe lease purchase agreement with Columbia Bank and the chairman to sign the agreement administratively. PLANNING Approved the applicant's request to deviate from the road standards set forth in the Bonner County Revised Code Appendix A, Title 12 for File FE0012-22. RECREATION Authorized the signing of the Lakeview Breakwater grant and accept the grant agreement for $123,500.00 with a $6,500.00 match. GIS Approved the updated contract with Eagleview. WEEDS Approved Resolution #2022-71 declaring the 2007 GMC 1500, VIN #1GTEK19VX7Z154838 as surplus equipment and authorize the transfer from Weeds to the Motor Pool. HUMAN RESOURCES Approved commencing with recruitment for Residential Appraiser, Assessor; Payroll Accountant, Clerk, Auditors Office; and Court Clerk II, Courts effective September 20, 2022. SHERIFF Approved the Medical Services Contract between Troy W. Geyman, M.D. and the Bonner County Sheriff's Office. The amount of this contract will not exceed $49,500 annually and is effective from September 30, 2022 to September 30, 2023. This agreement may be terminated by either party with 30 days' written notice. This contract is identical to the previous contract, except dates. Approved the agreement between the City of Dover and Bonner County to provide law enforcement and prosecution services. The City will reimburse Bonner County $100 per month. The agreement will be effective from October 1, 2022 to October 1, 2024, unless terminated earlier upon 90 days' notice from either party. RISK MANAGEMENT Approved the contract for Redman & Company Insurance to provide risk management liability insurance for Bonner County for the period of October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. The cost of the renewal will be $683,333. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 22, 2022, in the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, by Zoom teleconference, and YouTube Livestream to consider the following request: File VS0002-21 - Title 40 Road Vacation - Right of Way - M3 Id Camp Bay Llc is requesting the vacation of approximately 2,550 ft (2.93 acres) of the Camp Bay Road right-of-way from the north boundary of the Petitioner's Parcel No. RP56N01E184811A, south to the end of the road, in Parcel No. RP56N01E188600A. The property is zoned Rural-10 & Rural-5 and is located off Camp Bay Road in Section 18, Township 56 North, Range 1 East, Boise-Meridian. If approved, the vacated right-of-way will be replaced with private roadway access and utility easements to serve the Petitioner's property as well as the properties located on South Camp Bay Road beyond the Petitioner's property (collectively the "South Camp Bay Properties").
