LPOSD hosting community forums

SANDPOINT — The Lake Pend Oreille School District is hosting community input forums in the coming week.
The forums, which will be held at various schools in the district, will be held from 5:30-7 p.m.
Forums will be held Monday, Sept. 19, at Sandpoint Middle School; Tuesday, Sept. 20, Clark Fork Jr./Sr. High School; and Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Sagle Elementary School.
Attendees will hear a short presentation from LPOSD Superintendent, Dr. Becky Meyer. Following, there will be an opportunity to visit tables hosted by department representatives. Tables will include: teaching and learning, District Safety Task Force, child nutrition, technology, facilities, and community outreach. Finally, computers (as well as paper surveys) will be available for all those who wish to participate in the LPOSD Strategic Plan Development Survey.
