SHS golfers compete at Bryden Canyon

LEWISTON — Sandpoint golf had a difficult competition last Thursday at the Bryden Canyon golf course, with both the boys and girls teams scoring over 400, taking fifth place each.

On the boys side, Coeur d’Alene was victorious with a total stroke count of 299 and for the girls, Lewiston won with 337 total team strokes.

Only two bulldogs scored under 100, boys Micah Young and Logan Roos scored 97 and 99 respectively. The lowest scorer for the girls was Reagan Samuels with a 102.

The boys medalist, Grant Potter from Coeur d’Alene, scored a perfect par to win the tournament with 72 strokes. Mollie Seibly from Lewiston came in first for the girls with 79 strokes.
