Hopping into Easter fun

| April 9, 2023 1:00 AM

A pair of Easter egg hunts Saturday attracted hundreds of local youths.

Seeing the excitement and watching the fun is exactly why the Lions hold their event every year. Lions Club president Janice Rader said the club has been holding the Easter egg hunt for 70 years, with more than 6,000 candy-filled eggs scattered throughout Lakeview Park and the Arboretum.

Also held Saturday was an Easter egg hunt spread between Life Care Center of Sandpoint and The Bridge Assisted Living with 5,000-6,000 candy-filled eggs and a variety of plastic bracelets and bubbles scattered between the two areas.
