Beulah Ruth Pick, 89

Beulah Ruth Pick, 89, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Sandpoint Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Myckal Morehouse officiating. Ruthi will be laid to rest with husband Tom at the Pack River Cemetery.

Ruthi was born Aug. 6, 1933, in Oakdale, Calif., to Jesse and Marie Hopkins. She attended high school at Mountain View Academy.

Ruthi married Tom Pick on June 22, 1952, in Mountain View, Calif. Ruthi stayed home and raised two children. They moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, in 1966 and then to the farm north of Sandpoint.

Ruthi has been a member of the Sandpoint Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1968. She loved her church family and her role in children’s ministry. She was well known for her children’s stories. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, gardening and playing games with the grandchildren.

Ruthi looks forward to seeing family again in an Earth made new. She is survived by two children, Greg (Kelly) Pick of Riverside, Calif., and Jaynee (William) Wise of Sandpoint; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom Pick and brother David Hopkins.
