COUNCIL CREATES NEW ZONE; LEASE
Action by the Sandpoint City Council Monday gave the community a new “light industrial” zone, designated E-R, in which certain types of manufacturing, wholesale and research enterprises may be operated. In connection with the new zone, the council approved a 20-year lease on the former experimental farm property on N. Boyer to P & E Woodworking of Sandpoint. The firm will pay the city a monthly rental of $450 for use of the property, with provisions for rental adjustments in 1980 and 1987.
