SAR grant deadline is today

Today is the deadline to submit an application for a Selkirk Association of Realtors grant award. The award will be presented in June.

If you work with a local service-oriented organization in Bonner or Boundary County, and are in need of assistance with a program or project, you are invited to submit a grant application. For information, contact the SAR office by phone at 208-265-2227 or by email at info@selkirkaor.com.

To qualify for a grant, groups or organizations must work primarily for the benefit of Bonner or Boundary County residents and benefit a large group of people as opposed to an individual. Projects that relate to housing issues are strongly encouraged. Groups in all cities and/or areas of Bonner and Boundary counties are encouraged to seek funding for their projects or issues.

Each year, SAR gives thousands of dollars to local groups in need of funding for their community service-oriented projects and programs in Bonner and Boundary counties. Last year, the association awarded more than $25,000 to individuals and groups in the two counties.
