School board meeting changes location

PONDERAY — Next week’s Lake Pend Oreille School District board meeting will be held at the district office, located at 901 Triangle Drive.

Previously, meetings have been held at the Ponderay Events Center.

This location change was discussed at the July board meeting and was determined to be a better option for the board and staff.

Dr. Becky Meyer, LPOSD superintendent, said setting up at the events center costs extra time and money. The new location will also be less taxing on those tasked with setting up prior to meetings.
